(More customer reviews)The heat output is not as high I expected for the rated wattage. The best I can say is that it barely does the job and I have had not needed repairs. However, I would encourage others to look at the UT-50 for electronics work (although it does not have a self-ignitor) or the UT-100Ski for general work. I have those older models, plus the UT-200. They are simply in a different class than this model.
