I do a lot of specialty wiring and use heat shrink tubing often, the Master Appliance flam-less heat gun offers a focused burst of heat to do the job. Once more, the fan option gives a turbo boost to your work area as heat is available whether the fan is one or off. I'm confused why they call it a soldering iron though.
