I've owned two of these now, and I have to say I'm very disappointed with my experience.
Out of the package, the SolderPro 120 absolutely rocks. The soldering tip heats up very fast, the torch is powerful, stable and controllable and the whole package is extremely useful.
The first SolderPro 120 I bought lasted for about a year of occasional use. Then while using it to work on the wiring in my car, it started giving an unstable flame, that would flare up as if spitting liquid. With the tip on this was less noticeable, but would cause small orange sparks to come out of the opening. The situation worsened, and it began to cut out, such that I'd have to restart it, or hold my thumb on the red slide to keep the valve open. Then a couple days later, it simply wouldn't start. Replacing the tiny little orifice didn't help (btw, they only give you one extra, and apparently they can't be purchased separately). The torch was simply dead. Hold it to your ear and you hear nothing -- no gas flows at all (and yes, it's got plenty of fuel in it).
So I coughed up for a new one, and a new can of fuel, and tried again. Same experience -- awesome tool when it works, but it doesn't last. My second one died in exactly the same way after about 6 months.
