(More customer reviews)Ordered this Outlet Box to replace an old corroded one. Product is sturdy and well made. Calls on some technical questions were answered knowledgably and accurately. It allows either soldered or threaded hookup, and the metal ball valves mean never having to replace worn out rubber washers again.
If there is any improvement, it would be in standardizing the spacing of the pipes. I don't know if there is a construction standard for these things, but my old box had 8 inch spacing and this had less, which means I had to do some soldering of elbows to meet the new dimensions rather than a straightforward replacement.
