(More customer reviews)I frequently replace surface mount electrolytic capacitors and this paste has made the job easier and quicker by reducing the prep I have to do. Now after removing the original dead cap, I just clean the pad with a bit of chipquik flux (best flux ever!) and some wick, then apply a small amount of this solder paste. Now I can use lower temps to flow the paste which helps avoid overheating the pad or even heating through the board and effecting components on the other side of the board (which has happened to me as well). This has cut my time in half, before I would reflow solder to the pad and then apply flux to the terminals of the capacitors. I store it in the refridgerator as recommended and it has lasted well.
