(More customer reviews)I held the propane torch directly on the solder for 5 minutes and it finally melted but then the metal was not hot enough for the solder to stick to. I had the propane in the yellow bottle and was supposed to reach 2200 degrees. Couldn't get it to work for my purpose. It was just a waste of money for me!
