(More customer reviews)I bought this soldering gun from Harbor Freight, near Long Beach, at what I thought was a good price. After using it for about 15 minutes, a grayish substance began to ooze out of the gun at the two attachment points of the soldering element. As it appears this gun is falling apart from its own generated heat, I stopped using it for safety reasons. Even when new, right out of the box, this gun can barely produce sufficient high heat for soldering electrical 12 gauge solid wire. I must return this POS.
