(More customer reviews)This conical is the best tip for PCB work. It is fine enough to avoid accidentally making solder bridges between component pins and between PCB solder pads. May also be optimum for soldering small pieces of jewelry.
For heavier soldering work such as 12-16 AWG wire and chunky switches use the bigger 1/16th inch chisel tip (ST6 ?).
