(More customer reviews)When the pump arrived I was a bit concerned about what seemed like a pretty minimal amount of suction, but I used it for a big pcb desoldering project and it performed great. Took a little practice but when positioned correctly it removed all the solder from the joint.

Delightful Desoldering Our delovely desoldering device is de spring-loaded suction type, 10-3/4" long. Depress de pump, heat de circuit board pad, squeeze de button, and de solder deesappears. Devious little devil.
