(More customer reviews)I needed a small torch for my toolbox and to solder coax connectors outside in the cold. This perfectly fills the bill. It has enough safties that it does not come on by itself and when I turn it on, it will stay on by itself, so I can use both hands if necessary to move an item of interest. It has a soldering tip that will heat a PL259 and has plenty of power to do so. These can be difficult with a low powered soldering iron. A butane fill lasts quite a while. I got one at work to start with and liked it so much, that I retired my old Weller butane soldering iron to backup service and bought a second unit for home.
